I spent years searching for the Truth ("with a capital T") in every place except the Bible. I've read hundreds of books on the 'New York Times Bestsellers List,' I've studied philosophy, psychology, sociology, and all of the major World Religions. I questioned my Catholic upbringing by adopting the philosophy of Descartes, who reasoned that in order to be able to know anything at all, we must first unlearn everything we have been taught.

I have lived all over the world, so it isn't lost on me that had I been born into a different family, or a different cultural background, then I could have easily been taught a completely different "truth" as a child. I felt certain of the existence of God, due to many personal experiences that were indescribable without recognizing a Higher Power, but still made myself open to the possibility that I could be under a strong delusion.

I explored New Age Spirituality, gnosticism, and paganism, without fully understanding any of the dangers, but in all of my running from God, He never left my side. I went to many different churches, and at times would still consider myself a "Christian," despite my actions revealing otherwise. It wasn't until I decided to open the Bible and study it for myself, that I was finally able to experience The Truth in The Word. It was unlike any other "truth" I had ever explored before, and its authority is undeniable.

I have so many friends who have been on similar journeys (some of whom are still on their way), and many of them have been encouraging me to do something like this for a while. It got to the point where I could no longer ignore the call, so it is my prayer that in some way, I can make The Word of God less daunting, and more accessible to you, as we embark on this journey together. I pray that it helps you to find The Truth in The Word.
